Why did the chicken cross the road…

I got an email from Gerhard last week saying “Mom can we have a chicken”  Well he did’nt want to eat the chicken, they want the chickens as pets and we can benefit from the eggs…  I have been trying to avoid the subject since then but this morning their granny said the chickens can stay at their house so it is a done deal. lol  They are sooo excited!
