Picking the “right” school

For the last few months we thought that we are so lucky when it comes to a primary school for the boys that we dont even have to look further than the school we went to.  I passed the school today and stopped for registration forms for next year.  Well believe it or not while I was standing in the lobby I took a peak out of the office doors and guess what I saw…?  A grade one teacher screaming on a class of children,  the school looks old…  maybe that was problem number one, thinking it will be the same as what is was years ago.  Another teacher came in through the doors while I was standing there… still waiting patiently but this time a “man teacher”, wearing a thick silver chain around his neck and believe it or not but he could have walked right over me with that thick chain of his, whats up with that.

When I got the registration forms and I walked out the doors it hit me, I dont think this school is the right one.  Frans’s mom thinks it is just because it is a first time for me, sending my kids to a “big’ school, but I dont know.  I was really shocked today.  So now the hunt begins, we need a school.  Frans said if I am not happy we can look around and take it from there!  I just can’t believe it… but thats just me
